Exodus 20:11 makes one of the most unbelievable statements of the Bible: "In six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day." It is hard to imagine a clearer statement deny fining how long God took in creating the entire universe. However, this simple statement has presented a seemingly impossible dilemma for Christians. On one hand, modern cosmology teaches that the universe has taken billions of years to form. On the other hand, if this clear and straightforward statement of the Bible can not be trusted to mean what it says, how can we know that any statement of the Bible can be trusted to mean what it says?
This was the dilemma which Dr. Russell Humphreys (physicist at Sandia National Laboratory) set out to solve as he studied what the Bible had to say about the formation of our universe. Most people have been taught that the universe is the result of a gigantic explosion called the "Big Bang". During this explosive expansion, all the matter of the universe supposedly expanded outward from a tiny pinpoint. All modern cosmological models start with the assumption that the universe has neither a center nor an edge. When these assumptions are plugged into Einstein’s general theory of relativity, the result is an expanding universe which is billions of years old at every location.
Rather than start with these arbitrary assumptions (a universe having no center and no edge), Dr. Humphreys decided to take the most apparent meaning of the Biblical text and see what model of the universe developed. He reasoned that is the Bible was inspired by God, as it claims to be, it should not have to be twisted to be, it should not have to be twisted to be understood. It should have the same straight forward meaning for a "man on the street", a brilliant physicist, or a theologian.
The Bible clearly indicates three things about God's formation of the universe. First, the earth is the center of God's attention in the universe. By implication, the earth may also be located near the center-perhaps so man can see the glory of God's creation in every direction. Second, the universe (both matter and space itself) has been "stretched out". Third, the universe has a boundary, and therefore it must have a center. If these three assumptions are plugged into the currently accepted formulas of physics, and the mathematical crank is turned, we live in a universe in which clocks tick at different rates depending on your location.
Furthermore, the time dilation effect would be magnified tremendously as the universe was originally expanding. As the universe expanded, there was a point at which time was moving very rapidly at the outer edge and essentially stopped near the center. At this point in the expansion of the universe, only days were passing near the center, while billions of years were passing in the heavens. This is the inevitable conclusion based on our current knowledge of physics and starting with Biblical assumptions instead of arbitrary ones. Albert Einstein rejected the idea that Bible could be literally true. He wrote that, "Through the reading of popular scientific books I soon reached the convictions that many of the stories in the Bible could not be true." How ironic that the most ridiculed Biblical story (about a recent, literal, six day creation of the universe) is exactly the story which Albert Einstein’s work has shown to be entirely possible. The world Vs. Israel
"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."

Israel seems to be on every ones hit list even on some American's. When Israel fights back against terrorists that wont there land. Millions of articles and papers come up on how Israel is unfair on not giving diplomacy a chance and how they wont give up a tiny peace on land to someone. But the united States of America can have the Twin Towers 'fall' by the hands of tererosts and strike back against them with almost no one writing negative papers about the subject. So what's the deference?
Well it all goes back to the first few years of the world when the serpent went up to Eve and said "Yea, has God said," and tempted Eve into sin. When God 'found out' (He already knew) and gave the curse. One was that someday someone was going to bruise the serpent's head. Well Satan dose not wont his head to be bruise so he has made it his life mission to destroy 'every seed of the woman'. He dose this in many ways from making man wicked so God will have to destroy man. Telling men that they are sappier then there brother so brother kills brother. What every it maybe the serpent has this going on to destroy the seed of the woman. So far he is doing a good job, and with Israel being God's chosen people it would make since for Satan to start there first.
See Satan gets all his demon friends together and tells them to spread the tale that Israel is unfair, not right, and for even some people: should be destroy. So right now it is working, we have all the most powerful nations sticking there noise where it dose not belong saying "you know what you are doing is not right, we think (which means you will) you should talk to them again. This stuff also goes for Christians, Satan will hit the forgiven ones hard with all sorts of stuff be it propaganda, treats, war you name it. Really I think people should stand up for Israel because if your not with them you are against them and you don't wont to be on Gods hit list.
This will only get worst I fear nations will pressure Israel more and more but one thing I like about Israel is that they don't stand for that kind of junk. They will go against the world if they have too. So in the end the world will always be against Israel but for me I will be for Israel.

More Clues That the Earth is Young

Evolution assumes that man dropped out of the trees 1 to 5 million years ago and became fully human approximately 100,000 years ago. Yet archeological records show civilization arising only about 5,000 years ago (based on evolutionary thinking). In other words, by evolutionary reasoning, it took mankind 95,000 years after becoming fully human to figure out that food could be produced by dropping a seed into the ground!
It has been estimated by evolutionary anthropologists that the earth could have easily supported 10 million hunter/gatherer type humans. To maintain an average of 10 million people, spread over the entire plane, with an average life span of 25 years, for the last 100,000 years . . . .would mean that 40 billion people had lived and died. Archeological evidence clearly shows that these "stone age" people buried their dead. Forty billion graves should be easy to find. Yet only a few thousand exist. The obvious implication is that people have been around for far less time.
Another indication of both a young earth and a confirmation of the worldwide flood is the scarcity of meteors in sedimentary rock layers. Although some meteors have been found in sedimentary layers, they are relatively rare. Meteors are easily identifiable, and many thousands have been identified and recovered from recent impacts on the planet’s surface. If most of the rock layers were laid down rapidly during the one year period of a worldwide flood, you would not expect to find many meteorites buried in only one year. However, if the sediment was laid down over billions of years, there should be multiple billions of meteorites buried within this sediment. The fact that we find so few is another possible evidence for the rapid accumulation of the sedimentary layers and a young earth.
Suppose you walked into an empty room and found a smoking cigar. You could assume that the cigar was very old and that it had only recently burst into flames, but the more logical conclusion would be that someone had recently been there to light it. The universe is full of similar "smoking cigars":
All planetary rings still exhibit intricacies which Should Have long ago disappeared.
All known comets burn up their material with each pass around the sun and Should Have a maximum life expectancy of 100,000 years.
The outer solar system planets should have long ago cooled off.
The spiral galaxies Should Have long ago unspiraled, and the uneven dispersion of matter in the universe Should Have long ago dispersed.
Scientists working from the preconception that the universe is 10-20 billion years old have suggested controversial and complicated possibilities for how these types of transient phenomena could still exist but their explanations are based more on faith, not science. The simpler explanation is that these "smoking cigars" are smoking because they are young.
What about dating methods which do seem to indicate that things are very old ? As seen in the first article on dating methods, assumptions are everything. For instance, carbon-14 generation rate has never significantly changed. This method does not date the age of the earth but understanding it can have a profound effect on our interpretation of the "ice age" and the "stone age". A recent worldwide catastrophe would have caused an enormous change in the total amount of carbon on earth's biosphere. This event would completely invalidate one of the basic assumptions of the carbon-14 dating method (a known carbon-14 to carbon-12 ratio throughout the measurement period) and lead to excessively old dates for organisms alive shortly after this flood. This problem with carbon-14 dating assumptions will be described in detail in another article.

Were Adam and Eve The First People?

That's a very interesting question. However, the Bible says that Adam was the first man (1 Corinthians 15:45). Eve was called the Mother of all living (Genesis 3:20). The Bible makes it very clear that because of Adam, all die (1 Corinthians 15:22), and in Christ, all can have life (1 Corinthians 15:22). Therefore, if other people are alive that did not descend from Adam, they cannot be saved. Christ came to redeem all who have died in Adam. Some people feel that there had to have been others living around the time of Adam and Eve because of a "problem" with whom Cain would have married. Cain was Adam and Eve’s son. The Bible explains how Cain killed his brother, Abel, and was banished for what he had done.
The Bible says Cain went to the land of Nod, and knew his wife. Some people feel that this means Cain met his wife in Nod. So the question is, if Adam and Even had Cain and Abel, and Cain killed Abel, who did Cain marry? It appears that the question is answered by suggesting that other people unrelated to Adam and Eve were alive at the time, however, if we learn to stick with God's Word, and not man's fallible word, we will never be let down. Genesis 5:4 explains how Adam lived 800 years and had sons and daughters!
How many kids could two people have in 800 years! So Cain would have more than likely married a sister of his. This would take us into a whole new question of "Is it right for them to marry brothers and sisters". The laws forbidding it weren't given until over 2000 years later. Secondly, they wouldn't experience any of the genetic problems we have today with close-relational breeding. This is an entirely different question, so I'll leave it at that! Two Basic World Views

The creation worldview says that God made the universe approximately six thousand years ago. The evolution worldview teaches that the universe made itself from nothing approximately twenty billion years ago. One of these opposing worldviews obviously is wrong.
These time-line charts show the time differences presented. If the evolution chart were drawn to the same scale as the creation chart (1 inch = 750 years--at least in our printed material), the evolution chart would have to be 421 miles long!! The entire theory of evolution is built upon the faulty assumption that the origin of the universe was "billions of years ago" (BYA). The human mind cannot grasp "billions of years." As with most fairy tales, evolution relies on "long ago" and "far away" to make the impossible seem true. My advice: Don’t bet your life on evolution!
Ten years is a long time. On the creation chart it would be .013 inch (the thickness of a piece of paper); on the evolution chart it would be invisible.
Few people will live 100 years. Lincoln was President over 130 years ago which is only .173 inch on the creation chart and invisible on the evolution chart.
Columbus sailed more than 500 years ago (2/3 of an inch). The entire creation chart of 6,000 years would be .0000024 inches (still invisible) on the evolution chart! The entire fictitious geologic column of 600 millions years would be only .24 inch (less than 1/4 inch on the evolution chart at the scale it is drawn here.
Here are two questions to ask evolutionists.
1. In the Big Bang, what exploded? And where did it come from? When they admit they don’t know, ask, "Which is easier to believe: ‘In the beginning God,’ or ‘In the beginning Dirt’?"
2. Do you believe in spontaneous generation (life coming from nonliving matter)?
The theory of evolution is something people choose to believe. They do not and cannot know that it is true. Real science deals with things that are observable and testable, and neither creation nor evolution are scientifically provable. Both views are religious in nature. Yet, all U. S. (and other countries) taxpayers are forced to pay for the religion of evolution to be promoted in our school system—a clear violation of the First Amendment.
