"What should I say to someone who has lost a loved one through cancer?"

Be very careful not to give the impression that God was punishing the person for his sins. Instead, speak about the fact that all around us we can see the evidence of a "fallen creation." Explain how in the beginning there was no disease, pain, suffering, or death. But when sin entered the world, it brought suffering with it. Then gently turn the conversation away from the person who died to the person who is still living. Ask if he has been thinking about God, and if he has kept the Ten Commandments. Then take the opportunity to go through the spiritual nature of God’s Law. Someone who has lost a loved one often begins to ask soul-searching questions about God, death, and eternity. Many people are so hardhearted that it takes a tragedy to make them receptive to God.

Vegetarianism. Animals and Man

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the castle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of he air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And so every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Genesis 1:26-30

One of the signs of the end of this age is that people would try to impose a vegetarian lifestyle on others, but the Scriptures tell us hat every creature of God is good for food, and nothing is to be refused.

Vegetarianism is not always the blessing is made out to be. In India in 1942, three million people died of starvation. Alongside the bodies of men, women, and children lay the carcasses of hundreds of thousands of “sacred” cows-potential beef-steaks. They were God-given protein that would have saved the lives of multitudes.

One of the arguments of Vegetarianism is that all animals have rights but Genesis makes it very clear that we rule of the earth including the animals. Man is deferent then animals we are made in God's image. We are faded because of sin but still we are made in his image.

The Bible tells us that animals are created “without understanding.” Human beings are different from animals. We are made in God's “image.” As human beings, we are aware of our “being.” God is “I AM,” and we know that “we are.” We have understanding that we exist.

Among other unique characteristics, we have an innate ability to appreciate God's creation. What animal gazes with awe at a sunset, or at the magnificence of the Grand Canyon? What animal obtains joy from the sounds of music or takes he time to form itself into an orchestra to create music? What animal among the beasts sets up court systems and appoints justice to its fellow creatures? We are moral beings.

While birds and other creatures have instinct to create (nests, etc.), we have the ability to uncover the hidden laws of electricity. We can utilize the law of aerodynamics to transport ourselves around the globe. We also have the God-given ability to appreciate the value of creation. We un-earth the hidden treasures of gold, silver, diamonds, and oil and make use of them for our own benefit. Only humans have the unique ability to appreciate God for this incredible creation and to respond to his love.

But still Animal rights advocates still insist that “meat is murder” but they are misguided. God was the first to kill an animal (Genesis 3:21). In Exodus 12:5-8 God told Israel o kill and eat lambs. King Solomon sacrificed 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep when he dedicated the temple to God (1 Kings 8:63). When three angels appeared to Abraham, he killed a “tender and good' calf for them to eat (Genesis 18:7-8). In Genesis 27:7 we are told that Jacob ate venison (deer meat), which was his favorite food. Jesus ate the Passover lamb (Mark 14:12,18). In the parable of the prodigal son, the father rejoiced at his son's return by “killing the fatted calf” (which was eaten).

Before the flood killing animals for meat was forbidden but thats because there where plants every where thanks to the canopy of water overhead. But after the flood plants where not as plentiful as before so God told man to eat meat.

And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall you not eat.

Genesis 9:2-4

Some will say the Bible cares nothing for animals but that is not so. In my study I came over a amazing commandment to the Israelites.

If a bird's nest change to be before you in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, you shall not take the dam with the young: But you shall in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to you; that it may be well with you, and that may prolong your days.

Deuteronomy 22:6-7
Bible does very much care about animals but we live in a sinful world and there is not always enough plants to go around, God still takes care of us by sacrificing his creations for us.

James Cameron Discovers Ice on the Sun

From Way of The Master "Newsblast".

Early in March of 2007, Hollywood director James Cameron announced something that he no doubt hoped would go down as well as Titanic. It was big news. When Cameron (with less subtlety than his Hollywood counterparts) attempted to sink Christianity by producing "the bones of Jesus," even Time Magazine couldn't help but use the word "showman" and be reminded of Hollywood fiction:

Ever the showman, (why does this remind me of the impresario in another movie, "King Kong", whose hubris blinds him to the dangers of an angry and very large ape?) Cameron is holding a New York press conference on Monday at which he will reveal three coffins, supposedly those of Jesus of Nazareth, his mother Mary and Mary Magdalene.

Ironically, it's not the first time the imaginative director has tried to help us understand the Bible. A year earlier he produced a documentary that made big news in England:

The greatest story ever told has acquired a Hollywood twist.
James Cameron, the director of Titanic, is the executive producer of a new documentary that claims to have uncovered fresh evidence confirming one of the most dramatic episodes in the Old Testament -- the parting of the Red Sea and the Jewish exodus from Egypt . . . Cameron believes the parting of the Red Sea may have been a tsunami that destroyed the pharaoh's army as it pursued the escaping Jews. The documentary claims the episode occurred not at the Red Sea but at the smaller Sea of Reeds, a marshy area at the northern end of the Gulf of Suez. An underwater earthquake may have released poisonous gases that turned the waters red.

So the opening of the Red Sea wasn't a spontaneous miracle of God. It was a well-timed earthquake and tsunami. Thanks, Mr. Cameraman, for framing that for us, and for putting the issue in focus.

Thanks also for digging up these bones and making Jesus Christ headline news once again. You have given us another springboard for the gospel.

So, is the Christian world shaking in its bones because of this "discovery"? Can we be sure that he is wrong?

I can only speak for myself when I say that there are a couple of things in life of which I am sure. The first is that the sun is hot. I may be wrong, but everything around me--my natural senses, my life's experience, science, etc., all come together to tell me that the sun is very hot. The second thing of which I am sure is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God--that He suffered and died for me, rose again on the third day and that "God has appointed Him to judge the quick and the dead." Of both these things I am sure, but only the second is a hill to die on.

The thought that someone has found the bones of Jesus doesn't even come up to being a very bad joke. It would be more credible for Mr. Cameron to produce a documentary telling us that the sun is made of ice. He could perhaps have it aired on the Comedy Channel.

Why am I so sure that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? Because He transformed my life. He made me a brand new person on the inside. The first time I was born, it was radical. I didn't exist, then I did. When I was "born again" (by the same Maker) it was just as radical.

To understand that, you have to look to the Law of Moses for a moment. It says, "You shall not commit adultery," but this Jesus of whom Mr. Cameron speaks, said, "But I say to you, whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." That's the standard humanity will be judged by, and I don't know about you, but that would leave me guilty, and the Bible warns that it would put me in Hell for eternity. That's why I need a Savior--a substitute who took my punishment, and then rose from the dead to give me peace with God.

It is because of that cross that I am forgiven, and it was the ultimate happy day "when Jesus washed, when Jesus washed, Jesus washed my sins away." That's the only hill I will die on . . . and that's because One has already died on a hill for me.

AFTF National Presentation Call Featuring Federal Reserve Researcher-Historian Des Griffin 8 pm Central

Dear AFTF Volunteers:

I would like to thank Dede Farrell, AFTF Oregon State Coordinator, for her work in organizing this call. We will spend the first 15-20 minutes of the call covering some updates and administrative matters regarding the AFTF Volunteer Network. Dede will then take over moderating the call and will be interviewing Des Griffin before opening the floor up for questions.

Here's the conference call introduction that Dede put together for the volunteers in Oregon which can be applied to all other states:

"In American scholarship, one figure towers above all others: Des Griffin" I subjected Mr' Griffin's research and published results to the most meticulous academic scrutiny, testing their validity from every conceivable angle: his assumptions, deductions, and conclusions. Here, I concluded is a man with deep insight into military and government strategy, who can gather and assess evidence, discriminating unerringly between what is valid and what has been manufactured to manipulate the patriot or electorate: a man full of compassion for his subject-humanity-caught...between the ever recurring patterns of history and what has been carefully plotted for the future" Professor Robert Driscoll, University of Toronto.

We have been gifted with Des Griffin as part of our Oregon State AFTF volunteer team. Des was born in Ireland, lived there for 20 years, then spent the next 11 years in England. He came to live in the United States in Los Angeles in 1967, after two years in Canada and has spent the last twenty in Oregon.

Des began his research in what makes things tick in politics and the economy, in the fifties. He began consolidating his findings in the late 60's, then in 1974 he made, what he calls, a major "knowledge breakthrough" when he discovered the plan by the Illuminati to create a New World Order or World Government.

Two years later Mr. Griffin published his first book, Fourth Reich of the Rich. He also has published "Storming the Gates of Hell, plus, Martin Luther King, The Man Behind the Truth, and God's Chosen People and Anti-Semitism and the Babylonian Connection. Through his own publishing company, Emmisary Publications, he then wrote and distributed, Descent into Slavery. Des Griffin publishes a monthly newspaper, Midnight Messenger, www.midnight-messenger.com . There is an amazing reading/resource list there. http://www.midnight-emissary.com

Please put your questions together for this dedicated patriot and we'll see you on the Thursday night Presentation call at 605 475 8500, pin code 552 8750 at 6pm PST, 8pm Central and 9pm Eastern time. We have learned how to control this conferencing system and we all will be able to enjoy this call without confusing ourselves and others!

Thanks for all you do for our Country and the restoring of the Freedom we seek to re-create in America,
